About Ali & Marishka

A kinder, brighter world of learning and connection. A monthly digital newspaper designed to help young children learn, explore and grow together with the people they love.

We are Alan and Mariam, an international couple, busy professionals, and parents who believe that the most meaningful learning begins with curiosity, connection, and time spent together.

Like so many parents, we know how quickly the days fill up. Between work, routines, and responsibilities, it can be difficult to find activities that truly engage young children while creating space for families to connect.

We wanted more than another worksheet or a way to keep little hands busy. We wanted experiences that would spark questions, inspire conversations, and help our children discover the wonder of the world around them, with us by their side.

That’s why we created this space for families with young learners. Our thoughtfully designed activities turn learning into meaningful play, helping children develop essential early skills, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of discovery.

Designed with busy parents in mind, each activity is effortless to prepare, captivating for young learners, and thoughtfully created to turn your time together into meaningful moments of discovery, connection, and lasting memories.

Inspired by our international backgrounds, we believe children benefit from discovering different cultures, ideas, places, people, and perspectives from an early age. When children learn about the wider world, they do more than gain knowledge. They become more curious, open minded, and eager to understand their place within it.

But the heart of what we create is connection. A shared activity can become a thoughtful conversation, a burst of laughter, or a memory your child carries long after the lesson is over. These everyday moments help children feel seen, supported, and loved, and build bonds that grow stronger with time.

We make it easier to spend less time searching and preparing, and more time creating the moments your child will carry with them, learning side by side, discovering the world together, and building a bond that lasts a lifetime.

We’re starting with a digital subscription so families can enjoy Ali & Marishka’s monthly editions. In the future, we hope to expand into physical subscription boxes and more adventures.
